4th of July Survival Guide

4th of July is the best time of summer because you get to hang out with friends and family while celebrating our independence. It’s just around the corner and we’re here to help you decide what to do, what to wear, and what to cook!

What to do:

Hang the flag – Hang up that American Flag, think about your freedom a bit, and get the festivities started!

Go to a parade – Pretty much every town hosts a parade. The street shuts down and it’s always a blast! Grab some friends and head down to watch!

Watch some fireworks – After a long day of events, it’s tradition to watch some fireworks. Sprawl out on the grass and watch the loud bursts of color explode in the sky! It’s the perfect way to end your patriotic day.

What to cook:

4th of July food is all things American and it’s the perfect opportunity to light up the grille. You can make burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, and maybe even some deserts that spell out U-S-A. Whatever you want! Check out some of these yummy recipes.

What to wear:

It’s all about the red, white, and blue so make sure those colors are incorporated in your outfit! Some even go as far as wearing the actual American Flag. Just remember that it’ll probably be really hot so dress accordingly. You should also check out our awesome 4th of July shirts.
